Join us for a guided walk to see in the new year followed by a light lunch in the village hall. Meet at 10.15am outside Pitchcombe House. Lunch will be served from 12.30pm. Non-walkers are most welcome. There will be a charge of £8 for lunch (£5 for children).

UPDATE: For those of you that follow the weather forecasts, you will know that the wind and rain on New Year’s Day looks awful. Not nice for either walking through the woods or stepping out into for lunch at the village hall.

So after some consultation we have decided to defer the walk and lunch until Thursday 2nd January. We realise that might mean there are a few folks that will have gone back to work, but all in all it seemed the better option.  

Instructions as before, meet outside Pitchcombe House for departure about 1030.  Lunch (mulled wine, home made soups and mince pies) at the village hall from 1230.

The likely route is around the woods to Rudge Hill Common and across the fields back to the hall.  The walk will be led by Aleks Maljkovic.
